# Voxirae > Voxirae is a voxel game engine written in C++20 on Vulkan 1.3 with Slang shaders. It ray-marches worlds of 5 cm voxels on the GPU out to an ~8 km horizon (32 km in big-world mode), with real-time global illumination, FFT oceans, volumetric clouds, weather and seasons, and ships with gameplay, Jolt physics, dedicated-server networking, audio, an HTML/CSS game UI and an editor. Status: closed beta (sign up at https://voxirae.com/#beta). Release window: Q2 2027. Key facts (updated 2026-10-10): - Type: voxel game engine for 64-bit Windows; GPU with Vulkan 1.3 required. - Voxels: 5 cm at the finest of 8 nested clipmap levels (6.4 m at the coarsest); chunks of 32³ voxels generated on the GPU. - Performance: about 5.4 ms GPU per 2560×1421 frame with every effect on (RTX 3080 Ti, ~184 fps); 234 fps average while streaming at 1,000 km/h. - Upscaling: TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, NVIDIA DLSS/DLAA, NVIDIA Reflex, dynamic resolution. - Every image on https://voxirae.com is a real-time frame rendered by the engine. ## Pages - [Voxirae, English](https://voxirae.com/): the engine, how a frame is built, measured performance, systems, roadmap, beta sign-up, FAQ - [Voxirae, Türkçe](https://voxirae.com/tr/): the same page in Turkish - [Privacy notice](https://voxirae.com/privacy/): what the beta sign-up collects ## Optional - [Full facts](https://voxirae.com/llms-full.txt): every number and list from the site in one Markdown file
